How to find us

We meet most months on the first Friday for talks, and on the first Saturday for workshops in St Mary's Hall, St Mary's Road, Leamington Spa.   There are more details in our programme about the topics offered and the textile artists who share their expertise with us.

We welcome visitors who are interested in coming to any of our Friday evening talks.  Talks start at 7.15 pm and coffee & biscuits are included in the £5 visitor charge.

There is a car park next to the church and on-street parking nearby.

Welcome to Leamington & District Embroiderers' Guild Branch!

The Leamington & District Branch is a friendly group and offers you the opportunity to meet other people who love embroidery and textiles.  We welcome all new members, whether you are a beginner, an experienced stitcher, or taking up embroidery again after an absence – don’t let fears about ‘being good enough’ put you off.

We are a supportive group, keen to share our skills and to learn from each other.  We host regular talks and workshops by expert tutors, and we get together two or three times a year for Members’ Days, when we share members’ expertise more informally and enjoy a bring-and-share lunch.  We distribute our own branch newsletter three times a year to keep up-to-date with what our members are doing, as well as what’s going on in the textile world – shows, exhibitions, new artists, suppliers, magazines, books, videos, etc.

If you would like to join Leamington & District Branch, please email our Membership Secretary: leamingtondistrictmembership@gmail.com for an application form and mailing preference form.
